Portrait of innovation
Utilizing lines, shapes and a celestial-toned color palette to depict the ebb and flow of movement, Sami’s designs juxtapose the beauty of nature with the beauty of technology.
“The inspiration behind the collection was to create designs that evoke positive energy and emotion for the person who really wants to be good to the planet and themselves,” she said.
The collection, which includes three watch faces and six watchbands made from apple peels and other post-consumer waste, is designed to convey the liberty of individual sartorial expression using a flower roots, leaves and vines motif. The designs remind us that we are one with the earth and all life.
Made from apple peel skin, the Stratus and Midnight watchbands can easily be worn with a neutral Boho lip or a sultry smoky eye to work or out to play. On the other hand, the gem hues of the rubber-like TPU watchbands – available in Aurora Night, Dawn Atlas, Cloud Navy, and Earth Sunrise – are the perfect pops of color to complement a gold shimmering highlight on the cheekbones or any outfit. These interchangeable watchbands complement any look, from day to night.
“Your watch is something you wear each day,” says Sami. “What I love about the series is that they look very sleek and sophisticated, they blend seamlessly into every outfit.” The Galaxy Watch4 Classic is her personal favorite. Her Atlas and Serenity watch faces keep connectedness and tranquility at the top of mind. Sami's designs exemplify how fashion unites the themes and values we care about with style, so that each of use can participate in acts of personal expression.
