Soundbar will not pair to the TV using TV SoundConnect (SoundShare)

TV SoundConnect (SoundShare) pairs your soundbar to your TV using Bluetooth. If the connection is not working, let us help you by making sure the settings on your TV are correct.
TV SoundConnect (Soundshare) was specifically a setting on 2015 and earlier soundbars and TVs. If you have a 2016 and later model, you will connect your soundbar via bluetooth.
-
Turn TV SoundConnect (SoundShare) on.
Navigate to and select Settings > Sound > Speaker Settings > TV SoundConnect > Add New Device > On.
If you do not see these menus on your TV, refer to your user manual for more information.
-
Make sure your TV speaker settings are set to TV SoundConnect (SoundShare).
In the same menu where you turned on TV SoundConnect (SoundShare), you should see an option for Speaker Settings; change the settings to TV SoundConnect (SoundShare). This option varies by model, but is generally located in the TV menu under Sound or Audio. Refer to your TV's manual for more information.
-
Reset the soundbar.
Reset the soundbar by powering it off and then pressing and holding the Play/Pause button until it displays 'INIT OK'. Power on the soundbar, and then try pairing the soundbar to your TV again.
-
Pair your soundbar with another Bluetooth device.
If you are able to pair with another device, your soundbar is working correctly. You can try pairing your TV with other Bluetooth devices to determine if your TV requires service.
If the soundbar does not pair with any other Bluetooth devices, visit the Support Center to request service.
