
Compass Quick tool not working on Samsung phone

If the compass on the Edge tool isn't functioning properly, the calibration may not be accurate. The compass should be recalibrated after rebooting your phone.

Open the compass edge tool.
Swipe in on the edge screen handle and swipe to the Quick tools and choose the compass.

Calibrate the compass.
If it's been a while, the compass may already be in calibration mode, or you can tap Calibrate to enter calibration. Move the phone in the directions and pattern indicated on screen.

Recalibrate if needed.
You can tap Calibrate to re-calibrate the compass any time you feel it's not stable or accurate.
