To date, Samsung Electronics has donated more than $33 million worth in funds and goods around the world to governments and communities most affected by COVID-19. Those goods have ranged from medical supplies and air purifiers to tablets for remote learning and smartphones for patients in quarantine hoping to contact their loved ones.
In the U.S., our top priority is to keep our nearly 20,000 employees and their families healthy and safe during this uncertain time — and that includes the communities they call home.
To aid communities across the U.S., we have donated a total of $4.3 million to support local needs in the states with our largest workforces, supplied hospitals in hard-hit states with Samsung products and technology that aid frontline healthcare workers, expedited the delivery of nearly $3 million in technology and supplies to schools transitioning to remote learning and done so much more.
