Gear VR - Manage Apps on the Gear VR with Controller (SM-R325)
Your Gear VR comes pre-loaded with VR apps and content, but you can always download more from the Oculus Store. You can even manage these apps from your mobile device. Make sure to check the store regularly, because new content is always coming out.
The provided information refers to Gear VR sold in Canada. The available settings and options may differ for devices sold in other countries.
1. From the Oculus Home screen, select Store.
2. You can browse or search for a specific app. For this example, use the categories menu on the left and select Top Free.
To scroll through the menu quickly, swipe up or down on the touchpad.
3. Select the desired app.
4. To download the app, select Free or Install on the right. To purchase an app, you will need to setup a payment method.
The app will be added to your Library.
5. To open the app once it is installed, select Start.
1. From the Home screen of your mobile device, navigate to the Apps screen.
2. Touch Oculus.
3. Swipe up or down and left or right to view the available categories and apps, and then touch the desired app.
4. To read the description, view screenshots and reviews, swipe up. To download the app, touch Free or Install. To purchase apps, you will need to setup a payment method.
5. Review the permissions and then touch Accept.
6. To open the app, touch Start and then connect your mobile device to the Gear VR
You can also connect your mobile device and then select Library from the Oculus Home screen. The Library will always display any app downloaded for your Gear VR.
1. From the Home screen of your mobile device, navigate to the Apps screen.
2. Touch Oculus.
3. To view your apps, touch Library.
4. Touch and hold the app you want to uninstall until the More Options menu appears.
5. Touch Uninstall.
6. To confirm, touch Uninstall.

3. Touch Apps.
4. Swipe to and touch the app you want to uninstall.
5. Touch UNINSTALL.
6. To confirm, touch OK.
