Take your workout to the next level with your Galaxy S21 5G

Doing workouts out from home is convenient and fun. But sometimes it can be difficult to tell if you are doing things right if there is no teacher or instructor to critique your form. That will not be a problem with the new Mirror view feature in Samsung Health! It lets you screen mirror a workout video to your compatible TV while simultaneously displaying you on the TV while you work out!

Information provided applies to devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary for smartphones sold in other countries. Screen mirroring is available only on smart TVs that support Miracast.

Note: Mirror view works in conjunction with Samsung Health's workout programs. You will just need to select a workout you would like to do and then you can screen mirror it to your compatible TV. Once Mirror view has been activated, you will be able to see yourself during the video.

1 First, make sure you have a workout program added to your Samsung Health account.
2 When you are ready, tap the Home tab, and then swipe to and tap your desired program.
3 Tap Download workout, and when it is done downloading, tap Start workout.
4 The workout video will begin playing; tap the Pause icon if needed. Then, tap the Smart View icon.

5 Select your TV from the list of available devices, and then tap Start now to begin screen mirroring.
6 Once your phone is being displayed on the TV, tap the Selfie icon.
7 A small window will appear, and you will be able to see yourself on both your phone and the TV screen.

8 Touch and hold the window to move it around the screen.
9 Mirror view uses your phone's selfie camera, so prop up your phone somewhere that it can see you while you exercise. That way, you will be able to watch the workout and yourself at the same time! If you are wearing a compatible Galaxy smart watch, you will also see relevant statistics, like your heart rate, displayed on the screen as well

10 When you no longer want to screen mirror, tap the X in the window.
11 Tap the Smart View icon, and then tap Disconnect.
12 From there, you can continue the workout program or exit it.
