It’s that special time again - the time when the new Galaxy smartphone is released! And this time, the newest editions are the Galaxy S20 5G, S20+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, and S20 FE 5G. Since there are four models, you’re probably wondering what the differences are between them. We have the details for you right here.

The most dramatic change on the Galaxy S20 5G series is its innovative camera. The new and improved camera will make all of your photos stand out, whether you’re aiming for a professional look or just want to take pictures for fun.

Camera

Here is what comes on the different models:

  • Galaxy S20 FE 5G: A 32MP front camera and 3 cameras on its back. The main lens is 12M, the telephoto lens is 8M (with 3x Hybrid Optical Zoom), and the Ultra-Wide lens is 12M.
  • Galaxy S20 5G: A 10MP front camera and 3 rear cameras. The main lens is 12MP, the telephoto lens is 64MP (with 3x Hybrid Optical Zoom), and the Ultra-Wide lens is 12MP.
  • Galaxy S20+ 5G: A 10MP front camera and 4 rear cameras. The main lens is 12MP, the telephoto lens is 64MP (with 3x Hybrid Optical Zoom), and the Ultra-Wide lens is 12MP. It also has a Time of Flight sensor.
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G: A 40MP front camera and 4 rear cameras. The main lens is 108MP, the telephoto lens is 48MP (with 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom), and the Ultra-Wide lens is 12MP. It also has a Time of Flight sensor.

Rated (minimum) capacity is 3880 mAh for Galaxy S20 5G, 4370 mAh for Galaxy S20 FE 5G, 4370 mAh for Galaxy S20+ 5G, and 4855 mAh for Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. Actual battery life may vary depending on network environment, usage patterns and other factors.

  • Galaxy S20 5G is compatible with sub-6.
  • Galaxy S20+ 5G is compatible with mmWave and sub-6.
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is compatible with mmWave and sub-6.
