Brighten up the screen of your Galaxy S22 with Extra brightness
On super sunny days, it can be hard to see your phone’s screen even with the brightness turned all the way up… or is it? On the Galaxy S22, there is a new feature called Extra brightness that makes the brightness even stronger! It is great for using your phone in environments with strong light.
Note: Information provided applies to devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary for smartphones sold in other countries. The Extra brightness feature is only available with select carriers and software versions. Be aware that using this feature will drain your battery life faster.
Note: Reading a digital book outside on a beautiful day should be fun and relaxing. But if you are squinting to read the text on your phone’s screen, you can brighten up the display with Extra brightness. Just please be aware that using this feature will drain your battery life faster.
Note: The Extra brightness feature only appears when Adaptive brightness is disabled.
Note: Turning Adaptive brightness back on will automatically disable Extra brightness.
