1. Purchase an eligible Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone (as listed in the table below) between May 1, 2024 at 12:00 AM EST and May 16, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Offer Period”), from Samsung Shop App, or online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/; and
2. Complete the trade-in of your Eligible Trade-In Product by May 1, 2024; and
3. Ship the Eligible Trade-in Product within 21 calendar days of receiving the waybill.

The Eligible Trade-In Product can be traded-in in any condition  to participate in this Offer provided that it: (i) is verifiable in accordance with its serial/IMEI number, (ii) was purchased in Canada; (iii) has a minimum qualifying trade-in value of $0 as determined by the Service Provider’s device valuation software; (iv) is owned by the customer; (v) the IMEI or Serial Number of the device can be validated and has not been removed, altered or defaced; and (vi) the device malfunction or damage, if any, is not due to (A) improper or intentional installation or removal of any parts or components, or (B) improper or intentional equipment modification.

 

 

This Offer is limited to the trade-in of one (1) Eligible Trade-in Product per eligible Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone purchased. This offer has no cash value. Any questions relating to the Eligible Trade-In Product must be addressed where the trade-in takes place.  Determination of the final trade-in value of your Eligible Trade-In Product (“Trade-In Value”), if any, is determined by Assurant Services Canada Inc. or the applicable participating retailer or carrier. Trade-in Value is final and non-negotiable. Availability and selection may vary. While quantities last. No rain checks. Offer is open to Canadian residents only. Offer is valid for a limited time and is subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. This Offer cannot be combined with any other offer unless otherwise specifically agreed to by Samsung in writing. 

 

The Promotional Trade-In Credit and Trade-In Value offered is as follows:

2. $620 if you complete the purchase of an eligible S24 Series Smartphone and trade-in an eligible Galaxy S22+ Smartphone as defined in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below.

• $570 if you complete the purchase of an eligible S24 Series Smartphone and trade-in an eligible Galaxy S22 Smartphone as defined in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below.

1. $600 if you complete the purchase of an eligible S24 Series Smartphone and trade-in an eligible Galaxy S21 Ultra Smartphone as defined in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below.
2. $520 if you complete the purchase of an eligible S24 Series Smartphone and trade-in an eligible Galaxy S21+ Smartphone as defined in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below.

• Any qualifying Galaxy S-Series Smartphone listed below and in the Service Provider’s device valuation software / tool, as seen on the trade-in page at https://www.samsung.com/ca/.
  • Galaxy S20 FE, S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra Series
  • Galaxy S21 FE, S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra Series
  • Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra Series

Note: 

1. Once the Eligible Trade-in Product has been traded in, it cannot be returned to the customer, even if the purchased Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone has been returned by the customer for any reason including but not limited to buyer’s remorse. Samsung is not responsible for the Eligible Trade-in Product once it would have been provided by the customer in connection with this offer.

 

2. Please send us your trade-in device only. Any packaging, whether original or new, and any accessories that you choose to send with your device will be disposed of and cannot be returned to you.

 

I) Redemption process for purchases made though the Samsung Shop App or online on https://www.samsung.com/ca/:

 

For the purchase of an eligible Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone made through the Samsung Shop App or online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/, the verification of the Eligible Trade-in Product will be performed by Assurant Services Canada Inc.

 

Please Note: In the event that the trade-in value of the Eligible Trade-In Product and trade-in promotional credit (if applicable) exceed the purchase price of your new Samsung device, you will not be eligible to participate in this Offer and the system will display an error message.

 

The process is as follows:

 

1. Open the Samsung Shop App or go to samsung.com/ca during the Offer Period
2. Purchase an eligible Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone through the Samsung Shop App or online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/ during the Offer Period.

 

3. Complete the trade-in tool in your online cart by registering and providing all requested information of your Eligible Trade-In Product, including the Serial Number / IMEI of your Eligible Trade-In Product. Please Note: for purchases made online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/ or through the Samsung Shop App, you must apply the trade-in of the Eligible Trade-in Product at cart level using the trade-in tool, prior to checkout.

 

4. The trade-in promotional credit and the Trade-in Value of Eligible Trade-In Product of up to $700 (as set out above), will then be applied towards the purchase price (before taxes) of your new Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone, at the time of checkout.

 

5. A prepaid waybill will be sent to your registered email address when your new Galaxy S24 Series Smartphone is shipped.

 

6. Mail your Eligible Trade-in Product to the address listed on the waybill within 21 calendar days of receiving the waybill.

 

7. The Eligible Trade-in Product will be received and assessed by Assurant Services Canada Inc.
