What is vision booster feature in Galaxy S22 Series ?
Vision Booster is a feature of technology that provide tone mapping for enhanced visibility against strong illumination in outdoor circumstances.
If the device recognize that it is high level of illumination in outdoor so that heavy light reflects on the display , then Vision Booster will be enabled(on).
Note : There’s no user manual option to enable or disable. It is automatic option by device perspective.
The Galaxy S22 series uses algorithmic technology on the OLED display panel to improve outdoor visibility with Vision Booster.
- When the device detects a bright illumination situation in the outdoors, it activates Vision Booster, which optimizes tone mapping on the device's image (tone mapping : contrast, colorfulness, lubrication for enhanced quality of display)
- When you use Vision Booster and go outside, you may notice that the screen color tone or quality has changed, however this is for improved visibility in outdoor activities.
- When you're outside, the Vision Booster feature is usually enabled for high brightness, but it won't operate if you're in a low-light situation, such as shaded or regulated brightness.
Vision Booster is optimized for the condition of strong brightness that is almost not recognizing by user.
And under the circumstances of somewhat lower level brightness in outdoor, there will be no trouble in visibility on display of Galaxy S22.
