Maintenance mode users and permission For Galaxy Tablets
Maintenance Mode is a way of creating a separate user account when you hand in your device to be repaired so it can operate core functions without being able to access any of your private information. All the user needs to do is select Maintenance Mode in the “Battery and device care” menu within “Settings” and reboot their Tablets. As soon as it’s rebooted, all their personal information including their photos, documents, and messages will be restricted.
Android S OS One UI 5.0 (T OS), there is added a new ‘Users’ menu supporting multi-user mode with different access permission.
There is several User mode such as Administrator (Owner User), User (Sub User), Guest (Guest User)
In case only of being set with Administrator (Owner User) in the ‘Users’ menu, the device has the ability to enter Maintenance mode.
So, you need to check if the User mode is set to Administrator (Owner User).

- Only Tablet models have MUM 'Users’ menu.
